After 3 study guides, 671 pages, 2,880 possible test questions, 8,640 possible responses, we took the Italian driver's license test this and to our amazement read new and different responses other than those provided in the study guide.  Our question is:  How much money did they pay the developers of this test to come up with this many diverse responses?  The creativity of the Italians has not diminished since the days of Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo.  Our hats are off to them.

All that withstanding, indeed despite their ingenuity, creativity, and down right cleverness, our God who is mightier than all of these has allowed us to pass their absurd test.  Oh, how we praise him!

Thank you so much for your prayers.  We couldn't have done it without you!  And all of this on our wedding anniversary.  Yeehaw!

 Maureen and Sue

Maureen had a long time friend, Sue Ransom, from Georgia return with her to Italy to visit and see our ministry first hand.  They enjoyed some sightseeing as well as the Medieval Festival.  It is always a joy to have people from back home come for a visit.  Tom is happy to report that he passed his first Italian physical with flying colors.  It seems that he is healthier than a horse.  PTL!

October Schedule

Tom will be traveling to the U.S. for 12 days with our director Sam Spatola visiting several universities that send students here to Saints Bible Institute.  The purpose of the trip is to sure up relationships and enlist more students for the winter semester.  As we mentioned, the economy is adversely affecting enrollments here at S.B.I.  Girls passing out flyersMaureen begins the ESL semester along with four other teachers.  They've been busy passing out flyers for the course. She is also hoping to begin another Ladies Bible study this time on the Book of Ruth.
